Pretty Green Photography: Wedding terms and conditions
Booking Fee:
A non-refundable deposit of £150 is required when the Client signs this contract. Dates are only reserved when a deposit is paid by cheque or in cash. Please make cheques payable to W Atherton. The balance owing is due 1 calendar month before the wedding date. In the event of a cancellation within 6 months of the reserved date every effort will be made to rebook the date. However, if this is not achieved 75% of the fee will be owed. If a cancellation occurs within 2 months of the wedding date the full balance will be owed.
Weather Changes:
Weather permitting, the wedding photographs will be taken as agreed. In the event of rain or snow or any form of weather disturbances, the photographer will make the necessary changes in the photographic session and will not be responsible for any disappointment caused by the weather. However, the photographer, with the co-operation of the client, will do his best to produce coverage of the wedding within the time allocated to him.
Photographic Anomalies:
Owing to reflectance caused by a combination of certain dyes and materials, especially man made fibres, it is sometimes impossible to record the exact colour of a garment as seen by the human eye. The photographs will provide a pleasing colour balance based on flesh tones of the subject but cannot guarantee exact colour match. The printer will use his/her skill to produce pleasing prints, but cannot guarantee any exact colour match. Retouching and artist finishing is available as an optional extra and the final output and finish of any image that is re-touched will be at Pretty Green Photography’s discretion.
Coverage:
The photographer cannot be held responsible for the lack of coverage caused by the bride, the groom or wedding party not being on time, or by church, Register office, or licensed place of wedding restrictions regarding photography or anyone connected with the aforementioned. The photographer does not undertake to guarantee any specific picture nor incorporate any specific background, location or group arrangement. The photographer also has total artistic control over image selection for edit and only edited images are made available to the client.
Copyright:
The copyright of all photographs produced is retained by William Atherton and it is a criminal offence to make copies from them by any means including video under the terms of the COPYRIGHT, DESIGNS and PATENTS ACT 1988. Original files remain the property of the photographer William Atherton. The photographer retains the right to use any images for promotional purposes. The due performance of this contract is subject to alteration or cancellation by William Atherton owing to any cause beyond his control. Every care is taken in photographing and processing using professional materials. In the unlikely event of total photographic failure i.e. during exposure or processing, the Photographer’s liability shall be limited to a full refund of all money paid. Your statutory rights are not affected.
